The mission of Mississippi Cultural Crossroads is to promote the educational, cultural, and economic development of the citizens of Claiborne County by providing and supporting programs in the arts and humanities which will develop talents, provide outlets for personal expression, and create opportunities for persons of diverse cultural backgrounds to celebrate their heritages and gain respect for other cultures.

Long Range Goals

Goal One: Maintain and strengthen artistic programs

Goal Two: Rebuild and strengthen the financial position of the organization

Goal Three: Develop and implement a plan for the smooth transition between the long time executive director and a new executive director

Goal Four: Maintain and strengthen the infrastructure of community support through ongoing board development, volunteer development and collaborative efforts

Goal Five: Maintain facilities and continue to make improvements

Goal Six: Continue and expand opportunities for co-creation, partnering, and participation across racial lines

Goal Seven: Provide marketing opportunities for local artists, including children and student cultural workers, locally, regionally, nationally, and beyond
